We accept applications for full-time students up until September 25th of the current academic year.

If you are interested in taking individual courses, please contact our team. We accept applications for individual courses up until March 31st of the current academic year.

• To complete your application, you’ll need to have the following completed:
  1. Primary Application

  1. Birth Certificate or Passport Photo
  2. Report Card

• BCA Admissions Interview

If you forget your password, feel free to select the “forgot my password” link on the login page. This will send a prompt to your email to set a new password. Just note that you can only change your password once every 24 hours.

You can access all your online courses through Canvas, our Learning Management System. After you have been accepted, you will receive instructions on how to log in to your Canvas account.

If you forget your password to your Canvas account, try clicking the “forgot password” link on Canvas (briercrest.instructure.ca). If you are still having challenges, send an email to your instructor or to canvas.support@briercrest.ca, and they will assist you.

Canvas has an inbuilt messaging system which enables students and teachers to communicate with each other easily. Send your teacher a message anytime you need help.

You have 150 days to complete your online course. Your teacher will work with you to create a course completion plan that fits your needs and timeline. If you need to adjust your timeline for any reason, reach out to your teacher, and they will be happy to work with you.

• You will need:
  1. To be able to run a modern, up-to-date web browser: Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, etc.
  2. Have reliable, high-speed internet with a minimum of 3 Mbps upload and download.
  3. A good microphone and audio setup for video conferences. Headsets are highly recommended.
  4. A way to scan or take pictures of documents and upload them.
  5. A Printer for printing the assignments and tasks that are to be done off-line.

Yes, our courses are entirely asynchronous so that you can complete them at your own pace. We recommend that online students set aside time each day for their coursework.

Online students are welcome to come to campus to attend any sporting events, performances, or other extracurricular activities.

No, we expect online students to be self-motivated and able to work independently. However, your online teacher will stay in close contact to answer any questions and monitor your progress. Online teachers have advanced reporting systems to track student engagement, including video views, practice question completion, and time spent on readings.
