Residence
The dorm program at BCA provides an amazing additional opportunity for students to be part of a close-knit community and form solid friendships outside of the classroom. Living in dorm provides students with unique learning and growth opportunities they live in close community and journey together as followers of Jesus.
The dorms
About 45% of our student body is part of our dorm program. Most students are in grades 10–12, but there are cases where grade 9 students are accepted into the dorm program as well. There are generally two students in each room, each student having a twin bed, desk with, drawers, and closet on their side of the room. Each floor has a communal bathroom that students share with one another.
Dorm residence life code
Our dorm residence life code contains the expectations of living in dorm, policies, and other information you’ll need to know if you’re thinking about being part of our dorm program. Take a look through it and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Staff
Each dorm is supported by a dedicated Student Development team and leadership structure. A Residence Director (RD) provides pastoral care and oversees Residence Assistants (RAs) and “livers.” RAs are college students who act as youth leaders, while “livers” serve as older sibling figures to high school students.
